Exploring the Tea of Japan: From Bancha to Matcha

Explore the diverse world of Japanese green tea with us here at MEM in this interactive event. Learn traditional Japanese preparation, production methods, and brewing techniques which are all specific to the style and region. Participants will taste, prepare, and learn the difference between bancha, sencha, matcha, and high grade gyokuro (from our special stash).  Hands-on instruction includes matcha whisking techniques, traditional gyokuro preparation in kyusu teapots, and more!
