Tasting Notes: papaya • toasted almond • burnt sugar
Origin: Nantou, Taiwan
A beautiful and toasty oolong, made from the Jin Xuan cultivar (also used for milk oolong), which is grown on the low elevation mountain of Dong Ding in Taiwan. The infusion is rich, creamy, fruity, nutty, and sweet. Steep over and over again to experience all this complex tea has to offer.
Infusion: For an 8 oz serving, steep 1 level teaspoons of leaf in 195°F water for 4 minutes. Great for multiple infusions; try short steep times and gradually increase times with each consecutive steep. Enjoy!
