Take a journey with this 9-year vintage from Nantou, Taiwan. Like pu-erh, the aging process adds layers of experience to the cup. The first steep shows its age, with musky flavors of charred teak, leather and frankincense. Consecutive steeps yield softer, sweeter flavors of burnt toffee, birch syrup and licorice root lingering on the palate.

Infusion: For an 8 oz serving, steep 1 level teaspoon of leaf in 195°F water for 1-4 minutes. Enjoy!
